Winsome Pendergrass is a home health aid, domestic worker, and a tenant in Brownsville, Brooklyn. She immigrated to the United States from Jamaica and has been fighting for tenants’ rights and workers’ rights as a member of New York Communities for Change and Housing Justice for All ever since! When Winsome isn’t out causing trouble and fighting to cancel rents, she loves to read, garden, and spend time with her granddaughter.
